What A Letdown
I’ve loved The Marshall Tucker Band since I was a kid. This show was quite a letdown. While the younger band did a very good job, Doug Gray’s voice did not. Too many times the new guys were left to sing or he’d hold the mic to let the crowd handle the singing. Every song had a long story to gobble up time normally used to perform songs. This venue is very nice but not a good value to spend this kind of money to hear 8 or 9 songs performed poorly. Opening act Stephen Wilson Jr. was the best part of the evening. I will no longer support big dollar shows but instead support local musicians who better deserve my attention and entertainment dollars.
